Mango Lassi is my all time favorite from Indian cuisine. The sweetness of Mango plus the sourness of Yogurt totally make the balance of the drink perfectly. Summer is the season for mango to ripe, I found some delicious mangos from my local market, can’t wait to make Mango Lassi. Not only delicious but also healthy.
I saw “Bon Appetit” magazine using rum in the Mango Lassi, I think it’s brilliant idea to add rum, but today my recipe, it’s very traditional and simple without rum. You can always add some rum if you feel you want alcohol.
Tips
If it’s a very hot summer day, you can put in ice and blend together.
The Mango Lassi can keep in fridge for 24 hours
