Have you ever heard or tried Yellow Plum Ice Cream? I bet you probably never heard or tried this kind of ice cream before. Today let me introduce a new style of ice cream to you. It’s not selling from any stores (as long as I think :p), you probably only can get this from my home or if you follow my recipe to make it yourself. 🙂

It tastes sweet and a little bit sour. It seems like sorbet which has fruity flavor, but it’s more creamier than sorbet, so even you eat whole pint of the ice cream, you won’t feel too heavy. Since it’s homemade ice cream, sugar has been reduced and no any artificial ingredients added, even you eat two big scoops, you won’t feel guilty about it. 😛

Why am I using yellow plum to make the ice cream? You don’t really see yellow plum too often from any supermarkets, so I saw the plum from one of Korean supermarkets close to me recently, I was so curious the taste of the plum, and the yellow color was so beautiful (This is just me :P, curious about everything), end up I bought 3 lbs of the plum.

If you can’t find yellow plum, you can use anything other plums or fruits to substitute it.

Ok! Enough talking, let’s dive in to the delicious ice cream! Please contact me from comments or contact tab, if you want to try the ice cream! 😀

Note:

If the ice cream is too soft, you can put it into freezer for about 20-30 minutes before you start eating.

You can change the yellow plum to any other fruits.

My recipe doesn’t use egg yolks, so make the whole process much easier.

This is the ice cream maker I am using, you can use any ice cream maker for this recipe.
