Councilman Peter Koo was elected to the New York City Council in November 2009. Peter represents Flushing, Queensboro Hill, Mitchell Gardens, Kissena Park, Harding Heights, Auburndale; and part of Whitestone, in the borough of Queens. Peter is the Chair of the Land Use Subcommittee on Landmarks, Public Siting and Maritime Uses, and is a member of the following Committees: Contracts; Cultural Affairs, Libraries & International Intergroup Relations; Health; Immigration; Land Use; and Small Business.
Zheng Wenbin is special supply artist of national & foreign affairs of Chinese State Council state guest gift, honorary dean of Chinese Cultural Hall of Fame. He is also one of survivors from “MH370”. He was one of the artists went to Malaysia for the exhibition. At the airport, they split into two groups, one group took MH370, and destination was Beijing which flied off the radar. The other group took fly back to Shanghai. He was one of the artists took the route back to Shanghai instead of Beijing.
