Directions
Black sesame puree is one of my all-time favorite dessert drinks. It’s not just incredibly tasty, but also packed with health benefits. According to traditional Chinese wisdom, eating black sesame seeds or black beans can turn grey hair black. Given my growing number of grey hairs, it’s definitely time to incorporate more of these superfoods into my diet!
Easy Recipe with a Touch of Preparation
Making black sesame puree is a breeze, with one minor exception: washing the sesame seeds. This step can be a bit tedious, so I recommend washing a few packs at once, roasting them, and storing them in a large container. This way, whenever you crave black sesame puree, you can simply grab the pre-washed and roasted seeds—easy peasy!
Health Benefits of Black Sesame Seeds
In traditional Chinese medicine, black sesame seeds are revered as one of the best anti-aging foods. They nourish the scalp, stimulate hair growth, and promote melanocyte activity to produce melanin, the pigment responsible for hair and skin color.
Chinese medicine views hair and skin as reflections of the body’s internal health. Healthy hair is nourished by the blood, and the skin receives moisture from the body’s yin. When yin is depleted, it can cause dry or itchy skin, while blood deficiency may lead to hair loss and grey hair.
The Nutritional Powerhouse
Black sesame seeds do wonders for your body. They nourish internal organs, support blood and yin health, and provide essential nutrients to hair and skin. While topical treatments like creams and oils are beneficial, regularly consuming a tablespoon of black sesame seeds can address the root of many problems.
Additional Health Benefits
- Bone Health: Rich in calcium and other minerals.
- Cancer Prevention: Contains anti-cancer compounds.
- Cardiovascular Health: Supports heart health with healthy fats.
- Eye Health: Improves vision and eye function.

I’m impressed, I have to admit. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s both equally educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you’ve hit the nail on the head.
The issue is something too few folks are speaking intelligently about.
Now i’m very happy that I came across this during my hunt
for something relating to this.
